Great piece

This kind of has a Zelda feel like at the start of the game or an area with a real saddening feel to it, I enjoy that a lot.

Cello: Sounds a little saddening but it's what brought the piece together is what I think. Very soft feeling there.

String: Sounds a little like a xylophone? A very light xylophone anyway, sounds nice and soothing.

Harp: I enjoy how this part just simply loops over itself like most of the rest of the song but it's so faint and light that it just blends into the rest of the song.

Vibraphone: TO be honest I have no idea what that is...

Oboe: Sounds nice hear and near the end makes it feel more compelling and complex, nice work there.

Overall: No real improvements needed, very nice piece of classic music.

I think the thing that you are refering to as a xylophone is the vibraphone

Ehh, needs major improvements

I must say, this needs major work and you possibly need a new mic and mixing system so the voice doesn't sound so distant as well. Also I just really hear the first sound a lot from the first 3 seconds, the rest isn't all that audible.

Voice/lyrics: Kind of doesn't make all that much since and I'd suggest a new microphone before making another song since at one or two points it kind of gets way too loud and scratchy and pop sounding. Change this up.

Ahh sound: I hear that a lot and it's pretty much one of the audible pieces here that sounds pretty good to me which is nice but I don't think that's the sound you were wishing to be heard overall eh?

Drum 'n' bass: Sounds pretty good and a simple beat but not audible enough to be heard well.

Scratch sound: Nice touch although you'd have to turn this up a bit to hear it when it enters the song at different intervals.

Overall: Get a new sound and mixing system so it's easier to hear. If you decide to resubmit a better version of this it'd be nice if you left this one up so people can do a side by side comparison and see if there s till needs to be any changes.

Good luck on future pieces.

Crazy sounding.

This didn't make much sense but has a nice beat to it. Here and there you could have doubled the speed.

Voices: Comes and goes, can't really understand what they say either, makes it feel a little spacey as well to me. Very nice touch there.

Piano: When it comes it gives me a feel of playing StH(2006) again for some reason, another nice touch. Really liked it right there.

Drum 'n' bass: Sounds awesome and pretty complex to me, could probably be mastered after awhile but would take practice. Very nice drum riff.

Reverse effect: Another nice touch.

Overall: Very nice but makes me feel a bit creeped out and nostagilic.

The vocal samples don't make sense at all, but it's not meant to make sense either... Hehe.

I disagree on the speed. It sounds somewhat over boosted with extra speed. I don't think it sounds good.

The song without the vocal samples sounds lame and much less energic. Im glad you liked them. In my opinion - Piano leads/pads is the easiest part in a song to make, but im glad you liked it.

So this song creep you out, never heard that one before. Sorry bout that ;)

Anyway, thanks for reviewing. Really helpful.

Sounds somewhat odd

Kind of gives me a feel I'm stuck in a building with zombies and that I need to find a way out fast and try to survive at the same time.

Drums: I enjoy the kicking sound this produces, sounds superb how it's drum, kick+drum, kick, drum, kick. Very nice detailing I think.

Piano/8-bit: Sounds pretty nostagilic and there are some things I wish to not remember which makes my head hurt a tad bit from thinking it. Sounds amazing here as well, nice work.

Air sound: Well I don't know what it is but it sounds like wind gusts breaking down slightly to me. Very nice touch here too.

Overall: Very nice, no real changes are needed, I enjoyed it.

Haha, Zombies.

The drums were the main idea here, I had to use something called Glitch to make the Snare and Hihats sound nice and grainy. I also used glitch to get the special reverse FX on the snare as well \, and so on.

8-Bit Synth: I spent quite abit of time on the melody here as well, making sure it sounded nice and 8-Bit as well. It all works out in the end.

The "Air Sound" is a sweep, basically white noise being faded out by the High pass and Low pass filter at the same time.

Thanks for the review.

Silly and serious. D:

This is just pure utter nonsense for the most part, could have provided us the story description in the author comments so we understand what's going on.

It sounds like they are in a computer room near a prison and trying to convince someone to come with them. Sounds very odd.

This is just an odd piece and then some weird guy comes in and tries t ostop them at the end.

CalaveraVA responds:

There is actually no story to this (though it's interesting to see someone come up with one), as such there is no description of one in the comments. It is just a compilation of different character voices. I shall clarify that in the description then. Thank you!

Very nice tune

Makes me kind of think of the Kaiser Chiefs or the Stone Roses. This sounds liek a very nice beat and it delivers the message, nicely achieved there.

Guitar: Nice little riff and I like it, the solo is very light but I like how that sounded as well. Then while the secondary riff enters the other guitar beat keeps going.

Drums: Sounds very nice and like something most people would be able to play, very nice job on that there as well, good job.

Bass guitar: Sounds nice, enjoy how it holds the song together as well, very nice.

Overall: This is very good sounding and somewhat soothing and chaotic, great job here.

I am very grateful for the 10. Thanks a lot. Glad you enjoyed it.

Solid piece

Drums: Sounds very solid and like it's getting reworked at some points by being backed up for a moment, very nice work there that was.

Piano: Sounds very nice and I really enjoy how it sounds with the drums, very cool and soothing it is.

Chorus: Sounds like just some girls keeping a long solid note help up and slightly moving it up at some parts, very nice as well.

Makes me think of just having to find something on a base inside a moon and getting there takes ages and whatnot, finally reaching the inner layers you get you came for before making a mad dash to find an exit GO!

lol nice imagery

i didnt use any pianos xD

thanks for the review

Decent sounding vibe

Drum 'n' bass: Sounds very nice and enjoy hearing the small beats that make the rest of the tune possible, very nice job there.

Piano: Sounds pretty good, it gets high and then comes back down to being extremely modern and deep in sound.

Cymbals: I don't know if it's there but I can hear one slightly at some points in the song which is pretty cool I guess.

Overall: Not much room for improvement, maybe make it a bit louder is all and it's good to go.

Calamaistr responds:

thanks for the review, but im already of opinion that its to loud heh..

now that i read this again btw.. it almost looks like your review was meant for the Atadema track. Since there isnt a piano in this one.

Ehhh?

Before I start reviewing let me say a few things on this piece, get a recording studio or a better microphone because the sound is extremely choppy and hard to hear.

Lyrics: Very touchy at one part but it sounds pretty good and and at a point or two it sounds like you got a tad bit off key because the mic or whatever you're using makes popping sounds.

Beat: Extremely heard to hear, I can just barely hear some cymbals in the background and drum beat.

Overall: This needs heavy improvement, I'd recommend resubmitting AFTER you get a new microphone or recording system so it isn't so choppy.

I understand the terrible quality.. thank you.

Made me laugh a bit

Storyline: apparently a girl felt like someone was stalking them heavily, then he makes a song saying she loves him even when she is scared of him.

Guitar: Pretty much the only thing aside from the voice I hear in this. It sounds very nice anyways, decent playwork with the guitar, pretty good.

Overall: Could have added in a basic drum beat or bass line to add a little more drama to the meaning of the song, aside from that this is a nice song to hear.

CluppHead responds:

Thanks so much. Yeah, all i've got is my guitar, my voice, a crappy mic and audacity. I guess i could mess around with something like fruity loops to add some beat to it.... But yeah, i will definitely take that into consideration and start looking into a few programs that i could maybe produce a few beats from. I've played around with Fruity Loops studio before, and i'm not too savvy with it, but if it will help that much, i'll definitely give it another shot. Glad you liked the guitar, i'm self taught, so i seem to always use the same chords. This time, however, i played with adding a lead. Heh, maybe someday i'll take lessons. Thanks for the review.
