[Paper Hidamari: The Sweets Queen]

Ahaha, damn, this definitely deserved much higher today than 8th place for daily picks. Not seen a decent Paper Mario style parody in years, loved this one.

Only thing that through me off and I assume might have been an error or some kind was when the raccoon gal hit someone in the crowd and then the Sweets Queen, it shows all the notable move style words (Awesome, Good, Great, and Nice) at the same time. Otherwise, loved everything else here. You've earned a new fan, looking forward to the next animation you make. :D

A short and fun puzzle platformer, congrats on the daily top 5! :D

[Wanted! Castle Crashers]

This game needs to use a lot of cleaning up. I found it rather difficult to play as you have to click rapidly at times for the clicks to even register when selecting the night.

The game play is also sporadic, it is less of a crowd and more of the helmets moving quickly in random directions and off screen, the original game just continues adding more faces to a large 3x3 style screen and makes it harder and harder to spot where the Wanted character is.

The audio is meh at best and having the Mario sound clips saying "Thank you for playing my game" over and over while gradually becoming slower and more distorted over time does not fit in anywhere. If it had been a sound effect or something from Castle Crashers, that would have worked a lot better.

[Decryption: A Free Online MMO]

That fake-out intro was something else. I was almost expecting an MMO for a moment too. Interesting game, makes me think the character is someone who is dealing with anxiety and is also falling in love with a gal they have met in an online MMO as well.

The simplistic graphics and audio are nice and don't try to overload the player with too much going on and thus, no real distraction aside from just completing the game and trying to piece together what is going on. The way a second player starts to float around the game character the closer to completion you get makes me wonder what is going on with them by the end since there seem to be several hints that them asking about becoming bf and gf may have lead the other person to stop coming online a few years earlier. :(

Fantastic yet sad game, well done.

[The Final Stretch - NGADM 2020 - FINAL]

Not too sure why, but I wish the drums near the start had been changed up slightly and had a fill added in before the main beat kicks in. Otherwise, everything else sounds quite dandy to the ears and this fills me with motivation to complete anything that needs to be done, woo!~

This sounds quite inspired by Waterflame, but also reminds me of Donkey Kong Country as well for some reason.

The bass is bliss and I like it a lot. :D The tune carries itself well and sounds victorious in tone.~

The starting melody reminds me of times that never have been, Kingdom Hearts, and .hack //GU all at the same time. Makes you want to get out there and go on an adventure, self exploration of where you want to go with life and everything.

I think everything here blends together perfectly and helps illustrate a story as well. Not hearing anything that I would want to hear changed at all either. :D
